I am gourmand.

I don't like lots of food you think I would - like pizza sometimes or cheese - but I am unique in my food preferences if nothing else.

Tonight I decided that I really like marinated artichoke hearts. I had a lot of them. I like the choke the best - the leaves were a little annoying.

So there was a delicious dinner for me! Papaya and yogurt, artichoke hearts, white rice and a rice krispie treat.

Oh, and when I'm done with something, I like to gently place it on the floor to my left. Mommy had so much rice to clean up tonight that I'm thinking of buying her one of these:

Mmmmmmmmeatballs.

Road trip!

I've been meaning to post all week about our weekend trip to visit Grandma, Michael and my cousins, but Mommy, Daddy and I have been sharing a cold and I've been too tired.

Better late than never is what they say! So here's what happened.

Mommy, Daddy and I got in the car last Friday night at 8:15PM - isn't that CRAZY?! I was chatting away, but by 8:45, I was asleep. I slept the whooooole way to Massachusetts and as soon as we got there (11:15pm), I woke up. And I wanted to say hi to Grandma and Michael, so it wasn't until midnight that Mommy tried to put me to bed. Silly Mommy; she thought it would be easy. It took her 2 whole hours and then I slept with Mommy and Daddy all night! I guess we won't be doing much more night traveling for a while.

Anyway, Saturday was a great day. I got to play with Grandma, Michael, Julie, Max and Evan. I went to one of Mommy's favorite restaurants for lunch and took a nice nap and drive with Michael and Daddy.

Here's my cousins playing in Grandma's yard:

And here's me before taking a nice walk with Grandma, Michael and Evan:

Dinner was SO delicious Saturday night - Grandma cooked and then we had Mommy's favorite ice cream! I thought my cousins were so funny when they were playing on the floor.

Sunday we had a nice brunch and then went to the park!

Then we got to watch Max play hockey and that was my trip to MA!

The Great Flingini

This is what Mommy calls me when I get inspired to rearrange. Tonight it was my treasure chest of bibs and burp cloths.

Daddy was very good about picking up after me and stacking everything neatly, but that just makes me want to fling even more.

The Big Apple

Today was a beautiful day - I can't believe it's September already! Mommy and I woke up about 6:30 and had boobs and played and had breakfast (we had waffles and I also had fruit and cereal). Then we went to the park and walked 3.5 miles and came home. After lunch, we went into the city to see Mommy's friend Traci. She's SO nice - she bought me a book and Mommy cupcakes and spent all day telling me how cute I am. She's not so bad herself, you know what I mean?

Mommy bought me Farley's Rusks, which she can't wait to show Daddy. She also bought me a super cool Jimi Hendrix tshirt from this store. Daddy should like that, too.

I miss Daddy. I can't wait to go to the airport tomorrow to pick him up.
